Our Missions

1. Awareness-raising measures as a prevention against radicalization. Adequate information concerning the process of radicalization and further education in the area of both issues, as well as the handling of radicalization tendencies in the direct setting (of schools, in the youth field, in the world of work, in public).
2. Giving support to the family and social environment of a person who runs the risk of becoming radicalized or who is in radicalization process. Assistance to a person running the risk of becoming radicalized or being in a radicalization process in order to gain more clarity about the situation and follow a new direction if necessary.
3.Assistance to a person wanting to opt out a radicalized context.

Conditions of participation

All composers, singer/songwriters, musicians from Luxembourg, regardless of their age, musical style, band/orchestra/choir composition, language of their work, etc. are eligible to participate. Employees and family members of the organisers, the jury, professional musicians, composers, etc. are excluded.
The submitted works should reflect the values and visions of respect.lu. The winning songs will be presented and used in 2022 for the 5th anniversary of the organisation.

The prices

The 1st winning song wins an audio and video recording. The script for the video will be written by the winners together with the respect.lu team. All necessary resources for the audio and video recording will be provided by respect.lu.
The 2nd and 3rd winning song will each win an audio recording. All necessary resources will be provided by respect.lu.

The jury will not receive any information about the authors of the compositions. The video and/or audio recording will take place in 2022. The winners will be informed in writing by email by 31.12.2021.

The organisers reserve the right to make radio and television recordings. The participants cannot make any claims arising from this. The names of the winners will be mentioned.

All rights of the song will be transferred to respect.lu. However, the winner can and should promote the song but needs to mention respect.lu, the partners as well as the audio and video producer.

Selection procedure:

The jury will select the winners based on:
– Originality and creativity of the work
– Inclusion of the theme RESPECT
– Quality of the text (if applicable)
